This Privacy Policy explains how Visionary Sparks collects, uses and protects information when you use Classmate AI, the Visionary Sparks careers portal and related services.

Information we collect

• Account and profile information — your email address, username, display name, age or age band, learning direction, experience level, preferences and profile media.
• Learning content and activity — questions and files you choose to send to Astra, conversations, saved material, roadmaps, tasks, code-lab activity, quiz results, XP, streaks and achievements.
• Team content — team membership, chat, shared files, documents, projects and tasks. Astra only receives team material that is deliberately shared with it.
• Careers information — information you choose to add to the careers portal, such as education, skills, links, location, phone number, résumé and application responses.
• Technical and security information — device, browser, network, request and diagnostic data needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the service.

How we use your information

• To provide accounts, learning workspaces, saved progress, collaboration and careers features.
• To generate relevant explanations, skill paths, exercises and guidance.
• To prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, secure the service and diagnose failures.
• To understand aggregate product usage and improve the experience.
• To review an application when you deliberately apply through the careers portal.

Services that process information

We use service providers to operate Classmate AI. Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. Google Gemini and, where enabled, Groq process prompts to generate AI responses. Jina AI may process text to create search embeddings. TIO.run executes code submitted through Code Lab in an isolated external runtime. These providers process only the information needed for the requested feature and operate under their own service terms.

Local and offline features

Some conversations may be cached on your device for offline reading. When you use a supported local-model mode, prompts are sent to the local service you configure instead of our cloud AI route. Clearing browser data, signing out or removing the local application may remove locally stored information.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, when you deliberately share content with a team, when required by law, or when needed to protect users and the service.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and learning information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. You may ask for access, correction or deletion by contacting us. Deletion may retain limited security, legal or backup records for a reasonable period.

Security

We use access controls, row-level database security, authentication and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Age requirement

Classmate AI is currently intended only for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly provide accounts to or process learning data from children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

International processing

Our service providers and infrastructure may process information outside your state or country, including in Singapore. We remain responsible for handling information as described in this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will change the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how we use personal information.
